With a vision to bring standardized & qualitative education in the Medium of English, in Deogarh District, Central Chinmaya Mission Trust, Mumbai has started Chinmaya Vidyalaya Deogarh, in 28th April’ 2003 with the blessings of Swami Tejomayanandajee (then the Global Head of Chinmaya Mission worldwide) and Gajapati Maharaj of Puri, under the leadership of Brahmachari Surya Chaitanya (now regarded as Swami Nigamanandajee).

The vidyalaya has reached to a strength of 875 numbers of student against 57 numbers of teaching & non-teaching staffs. It is affiliated to CBSE Board upto 12th Standard and is striving hard to provide qualitative & standardized education to local folk of the area in a radius of 10 kms. It has 02 numbers complex, one is Sishu Vatika at Pradhanpat area & main complex is at Sunamunda area of Deogarh to address the need of primary & higher secondary education respectively. CV Deogarh is not only contributing in Anyesaha Scheme of Odisha Government but also organizing special tuitions to uplift the standard of SC&ST students. Every year students of CV Devgarh is not only attending scholarship exams of State Education Department and various other organizations but also ensuring scholarships bringing accolades to Vidyalaya. Integrated education program i.e. Chinmaya Vision Program (CVP) of CCMT-EC is studiously implemented at CV Deogarh throughout the year imbibing Physical, Mental, Intellectual & Spiritual values among students. In addition to it, students are continuously subjected to Hindu Culture, Patriotism & Universal Outlook engineering inner unfoldment of their personalities so that they can be a positive contributor to the society, country & universe in general.

Our scriptures proclaim, "Vidya Dadati Vinayam" - true education bestows humility; and "Ya Vidya Sa Vimuktaye" = that alone is education which leads to liberation. These timeless ideals form the very foundation of our educational vision.
As Secretary, it is my earnest endeavour to create an environment where students develop humility, openness of mind, strength of character, and a spirit of continuous learning. Equally, I strive to ensure that our staff members work in an atmosphere of freedom, mutual respect, responsibility, and adherence to established rules and regulations.
